Position Details: 

The Bridgeport-Spaulding Board of Education is seeking a superintendent to begin work July 1, 2018.  The Board is being assisted in the search by Dr. Rodney Green, Consultant for Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB).
Bridgeport-Spaulding is located in Saginaw County and serves approximately 1600 students, pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade in three school buildings.  Bridgeport-Spaulding has a caring and committed staff.  The vision is that students have a solid foundation for a successful life.  The mission is to educate students to be life-long learners.  Bridgeport-Spaulding is a turnaround district.

The Board is seeking a superintendent who is a strong leader with excellent financial skills and a solid background in curriculum and technology.  The superintendent should be an effective communicator with staff and community and actively work with the Board and community to set and reach goals.  This educational leader should be ethical, honest and friendly.
