Position Title:        Executive Administrative Assistant

Reports To:        Assistant Superintendent

 

SUMMARY:    

The main purpose of this position is to assist the Assistant Superintendent by efficiently performing clerical duties in preparation and completion of curriculum, instruction, and assessment related tasks. This position will also be responsible for the submission of the reports needed to satisfy the State Reporting requirements (MSDS). This position supports a variety of data analysis, data systems and creating graphic representation of data.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned

  • Administrative services for the Assistant Superintendent
  • Assistant administrators and teachers by phone, email and at CSF regarding meeting dates, calendar, testing supplies, registrations, website, publications, grants, special projects, etc.
  • Ordering textbooks, administrator professional books and office supplies
  • Processing conference registrations
  • Process expense reports, timesheets, mailings, organizing testing materials and grants
  • Assists in the development and coordination of data exchange between databases and data sources internal and external, within the district and the State of Michigan.
  • Prepares, submits, verifies and certifies student data submissions for required state reports: Teacher Student Data Link (TSDL), Early Roster, Student Record Maintenance (SRM), Graduation and Dropout (GAD), and Unique Identifier Code (UIC) requests and resolutions, CEPI, SID, and PAR Reporting.

 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate of Arts/Associate of Science; may substitute 3 – 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Knowledge of the tools of management, such as Synergy, , Michigan Student Data System (MSDS), Educational Entity Master (EEM), and Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) for use in evaluating programs or services.
  • Requires strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with various types and sources of education information, including school

Attendance, Schools of Choice, and state-level assessment data files.

  • Excellent public relations skills to develop and maintain positive relationships
  • Comfortable working independently, with experience working in team environment
