POSITION:            McComb Elementary Principal

START DATE:         July 1, 2019

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. State of Michigan Administrator Certificate or enrolled in program leading to certification
  2. Master’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood preferred
  3. Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience, elementary preferred
  4. Administrative experience preferred
  5. Skilled in oral and written communication
  6. Skilled in supervising and evaluating staff
  7. Skilled in development of collaborate relations with students, parents and staff
  8. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
  9. Ability to lead at the building level and be an integral part of the administrative team

REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools

SUPERVISES:  Faculty and Staff of McComb Elementary School (PreK-2)

SALARY & BENEFITS: Based on degree and experience in education. Full benefits including vision and dental

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:  225 days per year
