Support lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans; perform record keeping and clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, etc.); assist with supervision of daily class functions; accompany teachers on home visits; assist with student registration; prepare materials for classroom instruction; assist with classroom management; assist with assessments; anecdotal notes; and work with other classroom staff to provide child-centered, play-based and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday: 8:15am - 3:45pm and Friday: 8:15am - 12:15pm (at least one Friday per month, the workday will be 8:15am - 3:45pm for home visits)

Pay Rate: $10.15 per hour

Qualifications: Must meet all requirements of Great Start Readiness Program. Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a valid classroom CDA (Child Development Associate credential). Current CPR and First Aid as appropriate by the Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
