TITLE: Administrative Assistant – Special Education
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Associate Degree or higher
2. Professional experience and educational background that demonstrate knowledge of secretarial and administrative duties such as computer operations, word processing and the use of a variety of office equipment.
3. At a minimum competency in Windows 7.
4. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education
SUMMARY: To assist the Director of Special Education to assure a smooth and efficient operation of the Special Education and Medicaid Divisions at Lewis Cass ISD. The position requires direct contact with the Monitor, Supervisors, Child Study Coordinators and LEA Administrators to produce positive impact on the various educational programs and related services for students throughout Cass County.
