Position Details: 

The Speech and Language Therapist Early Intervention Specialist serves as part of a team that works to meet the developmental needs of children, through a multi-tiered systems of support.  The Speech and Language Early Intervention Specialist uses a coaching model to share, with parents/caregivers/educational team members, strategies to help the child develop new skills; services are provided in the child’s natural environment.


Four (4) full-time positions available; 35 hours per week.


Certificated Salary Schedule

Genesee Intermediate Education Association           


Health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance after one full day of employment. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs in accordance with state law.



Master's degree in speech and language pathology.  Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).


Evidence of successful work with students with disabilities, birth-to-five years of age preferred.
