POSITION OPENING FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE 

MIDDLE SCHOOL LANGUAGE ARTS SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

Lake City Area Schools seeks a long- term guest teacher (September-December) for the fall of the 2026-26 school year in 8th-grade Language Arts. The guest teacher will be responsible for teaching and assessing the provided Language Arts curriculum. The preferred applicant must have the ability to build positive relationships with students and motivate them to develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. Applicants must be eligible for a Michigan Daily Substitute Permit through the Department of Education (minimum of 60 credit hours at a regionally accredited college/university). The assignment will require an Edustaff application.
